  16. This is the latest driver for the NE2000 and NE/2 cards for AppleTalk Phase
  17. II support.  The driver fixes a problem when EtherPort and FastPath adjust
  18. their packets to an even number.

  47. These drivers are for the NE2000 and NE/2 card and the Netware for Mac vaps
  48. version 2.0.  They solve a problem with the Phase II versions of the
  49. drivers not accepting packets padded to an even number.  The FastPath and
  50. the EtherPort cards pad there packets to an even number. This was not in
  51. the Phase II spec so the problem is actually with the FastPath and the
  52. EtherPorts, but using these new drivers for the NE2000 and NE/2 will allow
  53. your server to accept these even packets.

  55. The problem you will see is devices on the LocalTalk side of a FastPath and
  56. Macs on Ethernet using the EtherPort card will not see the server when set
  57. up for Phase II.  To add these drivers to your server you need to
  58. renetgen.
